Unified Storage
Providing Multiple Storage Protocols
A unified storage solution is able to provide a variety of storage and networking protocols from a single or clustered array of storage systems. These systems provide unified support for SAN and NAS.
With a choice of 1/10 GbE, 25 GbE, and 40/100 GbE NAS and iSCSI, 8/16/32/64 Gb Fibre Channel, and 16/32/64 Gb NVMe/FC. These provide iSCSI and Fibre Channel block storage or NFS, pNFS, CIFS/SMB file storage.
They can deliver the same performance as a dedicated storage array with the ability to provide a choice of additional protocols should the need arise.
